CIRCLE PRINZ CANADA RULES
Follow these guidelines and you’re going to have a good time

1: Don’t ask who’s coming – Pre-registration will be secret, crews cannot display their crew name on their gear until the Top 16 have been selected. It’s not about who says they’re gonna come, it’s about who shows up and reps. Want to know who’s coming to Circle Prinz Canada? Be there.

2: Pre-Register and be FRESH – pre-registered crews will have an assigned # before the jam and can therefore customize their gear to display their number instead of wearing stickers or writing numbers on their hands. You must purchase your tickets at famouscircle.com to pre-register!

3: Don’t ask who’s judging – Judges remain secret until Top 16. There will be 7 judges for Cipher prelims and 3 judges for Top 16 onward. Our judges are all experienced and legit. Famous Circle has a commitment to providing the most qualified judges available to us.

4: Be a shark, not a piranha – quality over quantity. The crew throwing down the most isn’t necessarily the best. The judges are looking for crews that are representing proper. When the music moves you, catch the groove. Join the cipher and be yourself.

5: Get Involved! Help us spread the word and make this event the best it can possibly be. Join our groups and share the posts, invite people on facebook and tell your friends and family. Ask us how you can help now or even in the future. Become a part of the event and experience! Don’t just sit on the sidelines.

6: Crews must stick together in ciphers – Crews should remember this is a 2 vs 2 battle. You need to be in the same circle as your partner so the judges can recognize your crew and watch you rep. If you get called out and you are in separate circles you won’t look tight!

7: See the city – The city creates the vibe around the event. Vancity is home to some of the most beautiful scenes in the world, and keeps it gritty at the same time.

8: Be on time – Doors are open to competitors at noon, judges will begin ranking crews at 1pm, prelim circles go from 1pm-3:30pm. If your crew is not registered at the door by 2:30pm you will not be issued a number and not be competing. Full event info here

9: Don’t be a SUCKER – Buy your tickets in advance to save $ and avoid lining up at the door. Ticket holders and Will Call get advance access at the door. If you don’t buy in advance you will be waiting much longer at the door. Click to buy tickets here

11: Have FUN! – We’ve planned parties around this whole weekend for people to come and have a good time. Famous Circle is committed to bringing back the party vibe that spawned this culture in the first place. 12: CIPHER! – This jam is about vibing out and having a good time. There will be bboys and bgirls representing from all around the globe at this event. This will be the biggest gathering of out of towners at a Vancouver Jam ever. Step in the circle and enjoy the vibe.
